Nora Beta - Singer’s Promo Video

The simple artist video intro example was recorded in 2016, in London, with singer Nora Beta. Location was not the best possible, to be honest, just a rather dark room, and on top of that cloudy day in London. All equipment was really basic as seen in the photos: original BMPCC FHD camera, simple lens and sound redcorder, because sound was recorded independently and synced with video in post production. This production was really basic, and it was in fact a test video, with almost all decisions made during about 2 hours on location.

The result is still very good, despite low light conditions. In fact, due to few stops correction in post production I got a bit of grain in the video footage, but it looks good and makes video less clinically sharp, and more filmic.

The singer’s personality and emotions are embedded in the video, and this is - in fact - all what matters.

Now, compare - let’s say - a ten pages long cv-style text document, with just 30 seconds of video like this one above. What would be better for your artistic or creative business?

We also recorded short music video clip for her song Shockwave, with Nora Beta dancing, but due to not wide angle lens it was not framing as it should be, and this is not shown here mainly due to uncertainty related to lyrics and music copyrights.
